Community Guidelines
These rules apply to every message, profile, group name and voice room on Orbit. They exist so that rooms stay places people want to be. Breaking them can mean content removal, suspension or a permanent ban.
Never allowed
- Sexual content involving minors, in any form. Reported to authorities and banned permanently, without warning.
- Harassment, stalking, threats of violence, or coordinated pile-ons.
- Hate speech targeting people for religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality or disability.
- Scams, phishing, fake investment or earning schemes, and any request for money under false pretences.
- Sharing someone's private information without their consent.
- Impersonating another person, brand or Orbit staff.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual content shared into rooms that did not ask for it.
- Malware, account selling, and attempts to break or abuse the platform.
Expected of everyone
- Be at least 13 years old, or older where your local law requires it.
- Respect the purpose and tone a group owner sets for their room.
- Disagree with ideas, not with people's identity.
- Do not spam invite links, promotions or repeated messages.
- Report rather than retaliate.
For group owners
Owners are responsible for their rooms. Describe clearly who the group is for, remove members who break these rules, and regenerate your invite link if it is being abused. A paid group carries a higher standard, not a lower one — charging for entry does not exempt a room from these guidelines.
How we enforce
We review reports against these guidelines and act proportionately: removing content, warning, suspending, or banning permanently for serious or repeated breaches. Content involving minors is escalated immediately and reported to the relevant authorities.
We do not reveal who reported an account.
Reporting
Use the report action on any message or profile, and block the person as well — blocking is instant and applies across all of Orbit.
