About Orbit
Orbit is a group chat platform built around communities rather than feeds. There is no algorithmic timeline, no engagement ranking of people's messages and no advertising inside conversations — just rooms, members and the things they say to each other.
It is an independent product, built and operated by a small team in India, and it serves members worldwide.
What we build
Orbit gives anyone the tools to run a chat community properly: unique invite links, member management, live voice rooms, threaded replies, voice notes and read receipts. Group owners can keep their room free or charge for entry using Orbit coins.
The coin economy exists so that people who put real work into running a community can be paid for it without selling their members' attention to advertisers.
How Orbit is funded
Orbit earns money three ways: coin purchases, optional memberships, and limited advertising on a small number of non-conversation pages. Advertising never appears inside a chat room.
We do not sell member data, and we do not build advertising profiles from what you say in groups.
What we will not do
- We will not place ads inside conversations.
- We will not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
- We will not require your real name, phone number or an identity document.
- We will not leave abuse reports unactioned because moderation is expensive.
