Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Orbit ("the app"), a group chat platform operated by the Orbit team. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Orbit.

1. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age where you live).
• You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials safe.
• One person, one account. Impersonation and automated bulk accounts are not allowed.

2. Orbit coins

Orbit coins are a virtual in-app credit. They are not money, not a security, and carry no value outside Orbit.

• Free coins (welcome bonus, giveaways, rewards) can only be spent inside the app and are never withdrawable or refundable.
• Paid coins (purchased with money, or earned from your paid groups) may be withdrawn subject to the limits and verification shown on the Wallet page.
• Coins are spent free-first, then paid, unless stated otherwise at checkout.
• We may adjust coin pricing, group pricing and earning rates at any time.

3. Paid groups and creator earnings

Group owners set their own join price and plan duration. When a member joins, the coins are credited to the owner's balance in the same coin type the member paid with, after the platform share shown at the time of the transaction. If an owner removes a member within 7 days of that member joining, the join cost is refunded to the member.

4. Acceptable use

• No harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing or sexual content involving minors.
• No spam, scams, phishing, or selling access to content you don't own.
• No malware, scraping, reverse engineering, or attacks on our infrastructure.
• No illegal activity, including gambling or the sale of restricted goods.

We may remove content, suspend accounts and forfeit unspent free coins where these rules are broken.

5. AI companions

Orbit includes AI companions that generate messages automatically. They are clearly labelled as AI, they are not real people, and their output may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety advice.

6. Content ownership

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant Orbit a licence to host, store and display your content so the service can work. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.

7. Service availability

Orbit is provided "as is" without warranties. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Withdrawable balances remain payable subject to verification and applicable law.
