Blocking

Blocking is instant and applies everywhere on Orbit, not just in one group. A blocked person cannot message you, and you stop seeing their messages. They are not told that you blocked them.

You never need a reason and you never need to explain. If you are unsure, block first.

Reporting

Reporting sends a message or profile to us for review. Use it for harassment, threats, scams, sexual content involving minors, hate speech and spam.

Reports involving minors are treated as our highest priority and reviewed ahead of everything else.

What happens next

We review the report against our community guidelines and may remove content, warn the account or ban it permanently. We do not tell the reported person who reported them.

If a group has a persistent problem

Tell the owner. If nothing changes, leave — a room whose owner tolerates abuse is telling you what it is.
