What data Orbit stores about you

Orbit stores the data needed to run your account, your groups and the chat experience itself. This page gives the plain-language overview; the Privacy Policy at /privacy is the complete, authoritative version.
Account data
This includes your email address, hashed password (or Google sign-in link), username, display name and any avatar or cosmetics you've set up. This is what makes sign-in and your profile work.
Chat and group data
Messages, reactions, voice notes and media you send are stored so that group history works and so members can scroll back through a conversation. Group membership, ownership and settings are stored the same way.
Coins and payments
Coin balances, purchase and withdrawal history are stored to keep your wallet accurate and to support the payout process. Card details are handled by Razorpay directly — Orbit does not store your card number.
Usage and device data
Orbit stores some technical data — sign-in sessions, notification tokens, and preference settings — using cookies and similar storage, along with data used for AdSense advertising. See the Cookie Policy at /cookie-policy for the specifics of what's stored and why.
Deleting your data
Deleting your account from Settings > Advanced permanently removes your account. Withdraw any payouts first, since coins are forfeited on deletion and cannot be recovered afterward.
