How to send photos and videos on Orbit

Photos and videos sit alongside text in Orbit's chat, letting you share moments without switching to another app.
Sending media
Tap the attachment icon in the message composer to choose a photo or video from your device, or take one directly with your camera if you are on mobile.
Upload times
Videos take longer to upload than photos, especially on a slow mobile connection. Orbit shows an upload progress indicator on the message bubble until it finishes sending.
Viewing shared media
Tap a photo or video in chat to view it full-screen. From full-screen view you can usually save it to your device or share it elsewhere.

- Pinch to zoom on photos
- Save option available from the media viewer
If an upload fails
A failed upload usually means the connection dropped mid-send. Retry from the failed message bubble rather than re-selecting the file from scratch.

- Is there a file size limit for videos?
- Yes, very large video files may be rejected or take a long time to upload; shorter clips send more reliably.
- Do photos and videos cost coins to send?
- No, sending media in chat does not cost coins.
- Can I send multiple photos at once?
- Yes, you can typically select more than one photo before sending, depending on your device's picker.
