Refunds for coin purchases
Last updated
Coin purchases are digital and used almost immediately, so as a rule they are non-refundable. There are specific exceptions covered by Orbit's Refund & Cancellation policy, and this article explains how those exceptions work day to day.
The general rule
Once coins are credited to your account, the purchase is treated as complete. Changing your mind after spending coins, or after coins sit unused in your balance, is not grounds for a refund on its own.
When an exception can apply
Genuine technical failures are the main exception — for example, a payment that was debited by your bank but never credited as coins, or a duplicate charge caused by a checkout error. These fall under the Refund & Cancellation policy rather than being treated as ordinary purchase remorse.
What isn't covered
Refunds don't apply to coins you've already spent on a group or cosmetic, to a group you regret joining, or to a cosmetic that didn't look how you expected. Review what you're buying before completing checkout, since the store shows the exact cost upfront.
How to raise a request
If you believe your situation falls under an exception, email support@orbitgroups.online with the payment reference, the date of purchase and a description of what went wrong. Each request is reviewed individually against the policy.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I get a refund if I no longer use Orbit?
- No, inactivity or account closure is not a refund trigger. Refunds are limited to the situations described in the Refund & Cancellation policy.
- Are cosmetics refundable after purchase?
- Cosmetics purchases follow the same non-refundable rule as coin purchases in general, outside of genuine technical failures.
- How long does a refund review take?
- Reviews are handled individually, so timing varies. Providing a clear payment reference and description when you contact support helps it move faster.
