How to react to messages on Orbit

Adding a reaction

Long-press or tap-and-hold a message to open the reaction picker, then choose an emoji. Your reaction appears as a small badge under the message alongside anyone else's on the same message.

Seeing who reacted

Tapping the reaction badge under a message shows the list of everyone who reacted and with which emoji, which is useful in larger groups where several people react the same way.

Removing or changing a reaction

Tap your own reaction again to remove it, or pick a different emoji to replace it. Only one reaction per message per person is kept at a time.

When to react instead of reply
