Finding and joining your first group

Browsing groups

The Groups page lists communities ordered by recent activity, then size, then how recently they were created. Rooms with a burst of recent conversation carry an 'Active' flame badge.

Free groups show no price. Paid groups display their coin cost and duration before you join, so you always know what you are committing to.

Joining

Tap a group and choose Join. Free groups admit you immediately. For paid groups, Orbit checks your balance and, if you are short, offers to take you to the store first.

Your first message

Scroll up and read the last stretch of conversation before posting. The easiest first message is a reply to something already being discussed — swipe a message to quote it.

Leaving

You can leave any group from its menu. Leaving is immediate and nobody is notified. If you paid to join and are removed by the owner within seven days, your coins are refunded automatically.
