Installing Orbit on your phone or desktop

Orbit is a progressive web app, so it installs from the browser with no app store involved.
Android and desktop Chrome
Orbit shows an install prompt when your browser supports it. Accept it and Orbit is added to your home screen or app list, opening full-screen without browser chrome.
iPhone and iPad
Safari does not offer an automatic prompt. Open Orbit in Safari, tap the Share button, then 'Add to Home Screen'.
What installing gives you
A full-screen app window, a home-screen icon, faster loading from cache, and push notifications for new messages where your device supports them.
Uninstalling
Remove the icon like any other app. Your account and messages are unaffected — you can still sign in through a browser.
