Equipping and unequipping cosmetics

Owning a cosmetic item doesn't mean it's automatically shown — you choose what's equipped from the Cosmetics page, and can swap or remove items at any time at no extra cost.
Finding your owned items
The Cosmetics page lists everything you currently own, organised by category, alongside items you don't yet have. Owned items are clearly distinguished from ones still available to buy.
Equipping an item
Select an owned item and choose to equip it. Most categories allow one equipped item at a time per category, so equipping a new frame, for instance, automatically replaces whichever frame was equipped before.
Unequipping
You can unequip an item to go back to no cosmetic in that category, without losing ownership of it. Unequipped items remain in your collection and can be re-equipped later at no cost.
Switching between owned items
Since equipping and unequipping is free and instant, there's no downside to changing your look often — swap frames, bubbles or badges as your mood changes, as many times as you like.

- No, each category typically shows one equipped item at a time; equipping a new one replaces the previous choice.
- Will other members see my cosmetics immediately after equipping?
- Yes, equipped cosmetics update immediately and are visible to anyone viewing your profile or messages from that point on.
