Getting started

How to create an Orbit account

Last updated

Signing up takes under a minute and gives you 100 free Orbit coins to spend on paid groups or cosmetics.

Sign up with email

Open the sign-in page and switch to 'Create an account'. You need three things: a username, an email address and a password of at least six characters.

Your username can contain letters, numbers and underscores, and is what other members see. It does not have to relate to your real name.

Sign up with Google

Choose 'Continue with Google' on the sign-in page. Orbit receives your email address and nothing else; your Google password is never shared with us.

Your welcome coins

New accounts receive 100 free coins automatically. These are free coins, which can be spent inside Orbit on group entry and cosmetics but cannot be withdrawn as money. See our article on how coins work for the full explanation.

If sign-up fails

A 'failed to fetch' message almost always means the connection dropped between your device and our servers. Check your internet connection and try again — Orbit automatically retries a couple of times before showing the error.

If the same email is already registered, use 'Forgot password?' to reset it rather than creating a second account.
