How to create a group

Last updated

Creating a group takes a name, a description and about thirty seconds.

Name and description

Pick a name that says what the group is for. The description is the single most useful field — it tells people whether they belong before they join, which prevents most mismatches later.

Free or paid

Free groups are open to anyone with the link. Paid groups charge coins for entry and can use a lifetime, weekly, monthly or custom duration. Coins paid by joiners credit to your balance.

How many groups you can create

Free accounts can own up to three groups. If you need more, an Orbit membership removes the limit alongside its other benefits.

After creating

Share the invite link, invite a handful of people you know will post, and welcome each new member by name. The first thirty members determine whether a group survives.
